A fun to grow, quick filler! Flax blooms with tiny blue flowers on top of tall flexible stems. Flowers are extremely beautiful in the field (though do not have a very long vase life), and if you leave them, they develop into round green seedpods that age to gold. We harvest at pod-stage and sell this both fresh and dry (the second photo shows it dried).

Growing Instructions: This plant does best if direct sown, as it germinates and grows very quickly. Sprinkle on soil and cover lightly, gently pressing seeds into soil so they do not wash away. These can be grown at very close spacing as plants do not crowd each other out.

Days to maturity: 60 - 75 days for flowers, 90 – 120 days for pods
